Hogwarts Tag

At the time of writing this, I’m doing my annual reread of Harry Potter. So I thought that this would be very fitting.

I’m a massive Potter fan and have even met J.K Rowling (I cried a lot) – so I’m excited to delve into this! I stole this from Kat Possible over on Life and Other Disasters, so check out her post!

Are you a Pure Blood or a Half-Blood?

This is a tough question. I think I’d probably be half-blood. Only due to the fact that I’m a mixture between two nationalities now, and I feel most comfortable calling myself that. I wouldn’t mind either.

Which wand chose me?

Rowan wood – Unicorn hair core – 10 3/4 – Surprisingly Swishy.

Did you take a cat, owl or toad with you?

100% a cat. No question about it. Although an owl would be handy.

Where did the Sorting Hat put you?

Hufflepuff. Proud of the ‘Puff.

What House did you want to be placed in?

I really didn’t know. I thought I may be a Ravenclaw as I do value intellect over a lot of things. But deep down, I feel like a Hufflepuff.

What lessons are your favourite and least favourite?

Favourite – Care of Magical Creations and Charms I think.

LEAST FAVOURITE – Potions and Divination. Divination is important, but a bit too namby-pamby for me, and I’d 100% kill somebody if I brewed a potion wrong.

What is your Patronus?

Siberian Cat.

What does your Boggart look like?

Probably something like a bee or a spider. Although my real fear is loneliness and being away from my family and friends. So how can you show this in Boggart form. I’m sure they would.

Do you partake in any magical hobbies or school sports?

I’m not the biggest sports fans – so no Quidditch for me. Probably be in the magical chess group, or if there was a volunteer Care of Magical Creatures role that students could do. That.

Where would you spend your spare time?

The library, Great Hall or the cosy nook in the Hufflepuff Common Room.

What would you most likely get detention for?

Probably something like forgetting my books/homework.

What career do you want after graduating Hogwarts?

I’d love to work at Hogwarts as a teacher. Or, failing that, I would travel around and write books. Perhaps be the new Gilderoy Lockhart?
